Added whipped-ends (to prevent fraying) to the halyard lines!
I might get bored this winter and learn how to splice, but for now a halyard hitch knot is fine.

We fostered them between mine and my mom's house up here.
We eventually caught all the parent-dogs, but not before two more litters happened.
(They were extremely good at detecting traps and it is a 5-hour drive to get down there so it was a weekend project)

We only managed to adopt out two of the puppies (one to my neighbor) the rest were scattered among the family. I got two and my brother who lives with me got one.

Unsurprisingly those dogs had some puppies that we found while there for a family event.
First 6, then another 3 a day later.

Mounted the box, probably need to add some zipties, but it's working!
And i have a cover for the winch so it doesn't rust out again.
I will also unmount it when i store the boat for winter
