No, I 100% agree that computer RPGs these days have too much handholding. I, too, yearn for the days of being able to spend hours crafting my perfect build from hundreds of available options, only to discover that it mathematically cannot survive the mandatory rat fight portion of the first dungeon.

you can reload cancel in Ride To Hell: Retribution. You do a melee hit immediately after the reload starts and it cancels it but still reloads your gun. With quick weapons it's really fast.

you can reload cancel in Ride To Hell: Retribution. You do a melee hit immediately after the reload starts and it cancels it but still reloads your gun. With quick weapons it's really fast.

Yeah, it’s kinda funny how corporate jobs are waaay easier compared to #GameDev.
There’s just so much we have to know as game devs, and yet we get so little out of it. It’s disheartening, really.
