If you're going to do this I also think you should set tangible measurements at the local level too.
Not just "did Texas(or any state) go blue" but hey, did we flip Tyler, Longview, Nac, Lufkin, Midland, Odessa, etc.
Did we build enough of a Dem base there that we're winning mayors/school boards?

The two biggest strategic reasons to invest in red state Dems IMO are:
1. You've got to build a firewall and red states are the laboratories for democracy destroying ideas.
2. Those red state Dems know how to fight the GOP far better than most, bc they grew up doing it on every political level.
