I write a blog giving you examples of good ttrpg layout you can steal for your own books. https://matthewkjandre.blogspot.com - I also sometimes write ttrpg adventures.
I have a very small blog all about this! It looks at several newer products that do layout well, and even looks at some low-art games.

Triangle Agency does a tiny bit of this, but an expanded hack would be amazing!

Is there any reason I can't run Mothership modules with this one? Been looking to run A Pound of Flesh, but I'm not convinced Mothership is the system for it.
Looks good enough I'll run it anyway, but just wanting to check this!

Sure, if you're a group of tv actors, the GM talking about camera movements probably seems pretty natural.
But my character is not an actor. I'm acting, and the 'camera' isn't on me.
Furthermore, the visual mediums do not require imagination for visuals. This makes them a relatively poor option.

I was watching an actual play series where the GM would use visual medium terminology as a GM. Years later, he stopped, because, he played in a game where the GM did the same, and he realized he hated it.
Some people aren't on the other side of the table enough to know what works for them in play.

ttrpgs are primarily a medium of words; far closer to books than the visual mediums of movies and television.
One can read to learn how to describe a scene, how to describe focus moving through a scene, without needing to bring up the concept of a filming that is not happening and does not exist.

After reading about the 1917 Russian revolution, I thought about making a game where the characters bring about socialism through political maneuvering, swaying the populace, and one single moment of potential violence at the very end.
I'll likely not return to that idea, so somebody else should!

Good god that's such a cool paint job! The perfect mix of Gundam colours with that messy Ork paint job.
Great work!

Beautiful, beautiful, sketch. I spent all of my formative years playing isometric rpgs and dungeon crawlers, so isometric maps like this hit so hard.
