When my son worked at a nursing home a few years ago, one of the residents had a boerboel as an assistance dog. He would bring her outside to greet me every night when I went to pick up my son

The difference is that the lab standard lists three acceptable colors without defining them as separate varieties, as is done for the Cockers. (Clearly had better lobbyists!)

Different "varieties" as written into the breed standard. Most breed standards. Just specify one variety.

I wish I had seen this while the show was still on! I was posting a few things on Twitter but no one seemed to be interested. (I used to be the writer for doggies com - covered shows professionally & even got to go to a couple in person.). I'll be here tomorrow!
