Can assisted dying be a free choice in a society that dehumanises disabled people? | Sorrel Kinton

Fears that assisted dying legislation could lead to pressure on disabled people aren't just a 'slippery slope', given the current lack of social safety net.

Really great to be able to publish this report the week of the budget. The OBR has forecast that the SEND system will be running a £6 billion deficit by 2028. This is £8 billion in savings right here. You're welcome HMT!
We can get better outcomes for children and spend less on SEND.

This is such an important campaign. 78% of teachers say children are being punished because of their speech and language challenges. That's must be so demoralising for the teacher, and so devastating for the children and young people who just need more support.

This is so alarming😧

Given that children with speech and language challenges are the largest group of SEND support, it's so concerning that children with SEND are over FIVE TIMES more likely to be permanently excluded from school.

They need support, not further isolation!
