Not Ronnie Lane's only circus gig. His band Slim Chance played in a circus tent in Falkirk in 1974 and a friend and I went. The tour was called "Passing Show" and also included "clowns, fire-eaters, and other "circus" elements".

Bruce Findlay outside his record shop at 79 Rose Street, Edinburgh. The first branch of Bruce's opened at Callendar Riggs, Falkirk in 1967.

Never been to the Kirkcaldy one, but there was a Sleeves in Falkirk too that I spent far too much time in during my youth! The shop used to be called Bruces (from the Bruces chain of stores) and I think the Kirkcaldy Sleeves was also a Bruces store once upon a time as well.
