I love my wife. We’ve been together longer than half our lives. First time I saw her, I was in 8th grade and she was in 7th. Something about her made me take note. That moment will be something I think about when I’m on my way off this planet someday. Hopeful we have another 25+ years together.

I don’t want to jinx anything or get too hopeful, but the hearing in my left ear seems to be trying to recover. The steroids may be working. The suddenness of losing it entirely still has me a bit shook though.
