Quote with a 10/10 album.

If you see this, post an album cover with a motor vehicle on it.

Iron Maiden's A Matter of Life and Death is not the band's best album. But in my view it's their most serious artistic statement, a collection of songs tied together by a theme and perfectly executed. Powerful dramatic music.

#Nowplaying @aephanemer.bsky.social's new album Utopie. Rather splendid, the band always delivers.

Playing The Battle of Hoth game against my evil Galactic Empire daughter. We've started Campaign One. It's really tough playing as the Rebels. The AT-AT is particularly hard to kill, but I did manage to in this battle. Great game based on the #Memoir44 system. #Boardgames #Starwars

If you see this, quote with a robot that isn't from "Star Wars", "Star Trek", "Dr. Who", or "Transformers",

Great to see a new series of Rocco Shiavone (Ice Cold Murders) on All4. I also realised I hadn't watched the previous season. Rocco is an extremely grumpy, pot smoking, misanthropic, police detective who is haunted by his late wife. It's funny, moving, and the alpine scenery of Aosta is gorgeous.

Oh look it's my gaming setup from the very early 1990s. An Atari 520STFM. I loved that thing. I mostly played Microprose military games, Falcon, Elite, and Midwinter.

I used to be young, me circa 1994. Interesting guitar though. An Epiphone superstrat? They don't make those anymore, just Les Paul and SG models and similar. This is a 435i, a 1989 HSS superstrat with a locking trem. It even says Gibson on the truss rod cover.

Youngest son a bit miffed about queuing to play Battlefield 6 on Xbox.

#nowplaying Æl-Fierlen - All Is Far Away. This kind of atmospheric post-black metal is right up by street given my love for Myrkur, Suldusk, Darkher, and Sylvaine.

For some reason the band Mostly Autumn popped into my head. I've not listened to them for ages, perhaps 15 years. So I popped onto Apple Music to listen to The Last Bright Light. But any albums of theirs that early aren't on there. Nor on YT Music either. I'll have to dig out the CD or the rip.

The rear with the smaller glass panel, very busy camera lump. The removal of titanium. I think it looks gash. Compare...

Post a perfect record from the 90s that wasn't a Seattle grunge band

See this little bastard? It's a Ford clutch pedal assist spring. YouTube has loads of videos with people showing how easy it is to replace. But all these videos are American. And yes, if your clutch pedal is right next to the door I'm sure it's a piece of piss. But a right hand drive? Fuckity Fuck!
