🚨 BREAKING 🚨

My office just uncovered that, buried in their Fall Economic Statement, Ford’s Conservatives are quietly seizing control of Exhibition Place.

I promise you, clickbait does not generate subscriptions. I’m also fairly certain we’re not thin-skinned enough that we still need to be talking about this.

My favourite part of the Clase/Ortiz indictment is the eight-leg parlay lost when — after getting the first seven pitches successfully called balls — a batter swung at the eighth ball.

What kind of Sunday Night Football/Lowe’s bullshit is this where you have to “earn your Sunday?”

They win a set of matryoshka dolls with Tommy Lasorda’s face on them.
Congratulations to the Cleveland Guardians, the playoff team who lost to the team that lost to the team that lost to the team that lost to the champions

Fair bit of hard contact off Scherzer but not much damage per se.

Playing the role of Sam Dyson tonight will be Justin Wrobleski.

I will say this about Marlins Man: He doesn’t leave early and as far as I can tell, he’s only deployed his visor in rally mode during the Jays’ big innings.

Frank Isbell was 1 for 16 before popping off for 4 doubles in Game 5 of the 1906 World Series, setting the mark for extra-base hits in a single WS game, which Ohtani just tied. (The White Sox won Games 5 and 6 to win the series.)

Is Dean Angelo (jacked Jays guy) sitting next to Marlins Man?

My J.J. McCarthy take from before the 2024 draft was that, as a Michigan QB, his CEILING was Elvis Grbac.

Thinking about the George Springer contract and how underwater it was at the start of the season. FanGraphs says he added $41.6M of value in the regular season, which got him to within about $8M of the payout value of the first five years of the deal. Last night’s HR was worth at least that haha

This is a conversation we all had separately, by ourselves, all season long.
Thanks to mlb radio, more people know what "oppo taco" means than who the president is

We always see pitching dominate in the postseason but when the pitching is off (like Kirby’s command tonight) it’s imperative to take advantage. The benefit of a low-strikeout team like the Blue Jays is that they are able to do that better than a high-K team.

FOX just announced Tigers-Mariners start time will be closer to 7:30 pm.
I told a friend this morning that Tigers-Mariners might start around 6 pm and nothing has happened to prove me wrong.

McKinstry’s helmet had come down over his eyes and it’s fair to wonder if he missed third base with his right hand because of that. The same thing happened to Wenceel Perez earlier in the year when he whiffed touching home plate on a head-first slide because his helmet was over his eyes. #Tigers
