Interference Hi, Why does a payment processor think it is up to them to decide what can or can't be bought? In a time of globalization and online transactions, the major payment processors have a responsibility to allow everyone a fair access to such services. Instead, Visa chooses to police these transactions, based not on legal but completely arbitrary parameters. Pressuring Steam and Itch to follow these made-up guidelines is just the final straw. I urge Visa to reconsider these practices. Not only this could be considered interference on the borderline of illegality (and I hope laws pass to ensure it is considered illegal), but this also a source of inequalites as the most affected people today are mostly from already fragile populations. How could it be justified? What about tomorrow? Can I trust that, for instance, videogames will still be buyable through your services in a few years? As of now, I can't. Visa might suddenly decide that games are immoral and unilateraly block me from my hobby. Which also brings concerns about the enforcement: no one likes feeling like their transactions are monitored! Basically, this is a financial argument: I hope to have put into light that this practice erodes consumer trust on morality, usage and privacy concerns. This harms the brand's image way more than it helps it. I should add Visa is also cutting itself from a lot of potential transactions, which represent a non-negligible market. Sincerly,

A gigantic, monstrous cobra whose coils fill space, looking down at the tiny sun system caught between its coils. Look it just makes sense that he would coil around the sun system because a world snake would coil around the world but it's snake year too and a year is an orbit around the sun! You can argue that it doesn't make sense or that he's too big even for that but the fact his that he's not giving his size back now anyway. Wow we truly can write a lot of stuff in alt text!
