Isis were one of the greats. I really dug the palms project that most of em went on to do with Chino from deftones. Ok, another 5star from me... hmmm... this banger methinks. Overlooked in their discography, but to me it's them at their most brutally sparse and it's a wonder to behold start to end.

Fuck it... not an easy one to choose because there are so many albums which are 5star and mean a shitload to me... I was tempted to go 70s prog for this BUT I really feel like some Opeth would spin perfectly in my ears. Again, so many 'peth records I'd pick. Still life is one of many perfect records
