I feel like I'm having to adjust to a new body. Like I'm slowly shifting into a new species. I'm happy for it, because I was sick and I am getting better, but. It feels weird.

My diet has had to change dramatically; some days I can only manage protein shakes and basically baby food. Reintroducing food is a gamble of puking or not.

I was sliding into a diabetes diagnosis, so I'll take this strangeness, but I feel like I took a cursed deal to live.

Obviously people have gone through way more dramatic and obvious transitions then me, but this is the one I'm experiencing.

I'm living through a mundane, boring body horror story. My uterus has atrophied. The way I think and sense has shifted. My voice has gotten lower in tone, my throat hurts.

YEAH the art in the comic goes weirdly hard when it comes to the pirate stuff!!! I'm glad for it, but I was also a weird kid.
