I make an absolutely unjustifiable amount of money and even we cut our stock yearly vacation. Obviously this doesn't matter it's a vacation and our ends have more than met. But I have no concept of how anyone else is doing it now

But it's not even that much money. As I understand it schools make between 63-80m annually under the current rights deal. This amounts to a cash advance of 2 years for most schools but requires a grant of rights to go another 21 years.

I have to wonder why most of these schools in the richest conference can't make due with the biggest tv deal going. If they can't balance the books with what they've got what does this one time payment forestall

Reading this and thinking that they'll try a snap vote on this to avoid trustees, presidents and senators from stopping it.
