Prob no relation as my great-grandfather was a Russian immigrant & adopted the name when he arrived here. But it’s unusual. There’s an artist here in Kent called John Cann & a (f) composer from Oz on FB called Jude Cann Hunt.

I always like your posts, particularly as Cann was my maiden name!

She was a very special person, I’ve known her since 1959. I’m glad to say there were about 40 people at her funeral which I watched online. It was a lovely service partly in Sanskrit.
