I’m waiting for an electrician to arrive at the house today. I’m not sure exactly when they’ll turn up, though I’m quite confident that it will be at the same time as I’m on the toilet

I've said it many times before and Andrew Cuomo is making me say it again: we don't have a cancellation problem. We have never had a cancellation problem. To the contrary, we have a problem that "disgrace" is a very temporary embarrassment— an brief entr'acte more than an intermission.

It’s downright impossible for me to be calm when every day I see pictures of dismembered Palestinian children being lovingly cradled and reassembled, so they can be buried as a whole person and an accurate tally of the dead can be recorded
