On this page, I accept everyone and offer a safe space to anyone who isn't a bigot, and wants to listen and share. I hope you can make your pages the same. And if you have to ask if your view is bigoted, that should be your answer.

Disconnection kills us all. Echochambers of hatred permeate, but we don't need to join in an effort to feel part of a community. I hope bluesky can stay an environment where we care, and share, and don't put out our souls waiting for it to be stamped down.

I don't want to have to get my positivity from "positive news" repost bots. I want to be able to share it among people that also care. That aren't looking for a faceless human to attack. I don't want to feel as if I am opening my heart to the world and be expecting a wound.

If opening yourself up means opening yourself to arguments about your identity, whether that be gender, sexual, or even racial, what is the incentive? Even showing care, coming to the defense of another, opens you to hatred. Is that where we want to stay?
