I'm sure people have seen that post about how art is only an option for those who are "naturally gifted."
But nobody is born good at art, so here's a redraw of a drawing I made when I was 4. Didn't stop practicing in the 21 years since, I'd like to think it shows.

I'm definitely not the first to do this, but since @lavendertowne.bsky.social dropped a tutorial for emulating her artstyle in her latest vid about salty AI bros (a real power move tbh) I absolutely had to try it out myself, which was so fun!

Recently I've been doing a bit of thinking about ways of disconnecting from online services a bit and in my endeavours to facilitate a slightly more analog lifestyle I've gotten myself this super pretty address book. Looking forward to writing some more letters rather than only ever texting

I did fully finished pieces for my bday art the last 3 years so I feel a little sad at breaking that streak. But it's probably better to let it rest for now, there's always next year

It was my bday back in February and normally I draw myself every year, but this year I simply couldn't get into it. Still wanted to draw something, but I haven't been able to do fully finished pieces so I figured it might be better to know when to quit and just leave this one half-done

A piece from last October. I made this for the day 4 prompt of Cringetober 2024, which was to design a fursona. Decided to go with a raven since corvids are one of the few animals I feel especially drawn to, kinda attached to them now

About 2 years ago I did some work on a vtuber model for myself. Haven't used it a whole lot since I haven't streamed much, but it was a super interesting experience to learn about what goes into making a VTuber and definitely something I might want to try again in the future.

Another year's come to an end. I have to admit this past year has been kinda difficult for me in various ways, but I feel hopeful for the coming year and what I'll be able to make of it. Wishing everyone some peace and fresh beginnings in 2025!
