My family has been without half our income for 40 days. It has been.. very hard.

We are willing to feel that pain so people can have health care next year, or to undo these illegal recissions.

We are not willing to have been put through this for NOTHING.

After high school I attended Columbia College. I later moved to LA and spent 14 years writing TV shows for Paramount. Some of them ran on CBS. Now when I meet new people, I tell them I spent those years selling clean urine to parolees.

Do not relent on Crapo & Risch regarding Idaho public lands.

They have not said they will vote no on the budget if that provision remains. Only that they don’t agree with it. #idpol

Trump underwater in literally every single issue. 38% approval overall. 27% approval on his spending bill. 40% approval on deportations.

Musk also at 30% approval. 38% approval for RFK Jr. 35% approval for JD Vance.

Nobody fucking wants any of this.

Apparently, people are mad and calling city council to make them take it down. City Hall is getting inundated with calls right now to take down the Pride flag. Can we get as many folks as possible to call and encourage they keep the flag up?

Here’s the number: 208-972-8520

You know what to do

Even if you accept the premise and decision, which I absolutely do not, it is the simplest thing to phone the visa holder, tell them their visa is revoked and say they have a month to leave the country. Accosting someone on the street like a kidnapping is just a spectacle of terror.
Marco Rubio on Rumeysa Ozturk: "We revoked her visa ... once you've lost your visa, you're no longer legally in the United States ... if you come into the US as a visitor and create a ruckus for us, we don't want it. We don't want it in our country. Go back and do it in your country."

This is a beautiful tribute to Margaret Clark, who died at the weekend. I’ve worked with Margaret since 2008, and she edited some of the Star Trek books of which I’m most proud. We’re all going to miss her terribly.
Sad news to share with fans of the Star Trek novels and the SF publishing community: my friend and longtime editor Margaret Clark, who acquired and edited official Star Trek novels for over 25 years, passed away on Sunday.
