First snow of the winter in #Stockport. It hasn’t stuck yet but I’m looking forward to Facebook telling me it snowed in this day x years ago, getting excited and my family looking at me with zero interest!

Having heard @georgetakei.bsky.social talk about internment on History Hit (check it out - this is someone who knows where these ideas go and how horrific it is) I’m delighted he followed me. Also, I’m a Celebrity is on now in the UK and George was one of our all-time favourites

It’s the first time I’ve been posting on here on the anniversary of Mum’s death. Still can’t believe it was 10 years ago that she died - feels much much more recent. Still, as is my tradition, I’ll be having some of her favourite wine tonight.

Seeing a lot of new people so thought I’d reintroduce myself again. I’m from England, born down south, lived up North for over half my life. Here for sport (esp Cambridge United), crap jokes, History, chess and neurodiversity content.

9 years since my Mum passed away. This was her favourite wine. Can’t wait to drink it later.

The Joshua Tree. Limited choice from that year but this is the best choice for me.
