I once found the musical ‘Hamilton’ to be inspiring. Years later, I send the YouTube playlist of the musical to anyone who mentions narcissistic personality disorder, or says their ex is a narcissist.

I will never forget the eeriness of reading ‘The Exorcist’ by William Peter Blatty the week of law school orientation in an unfurnished apartment. I purposely left the lights off and read the book in the middle of the living room, with a flashlight.
It was awesome. But I wouldn’t do it again.

I don't know why people are always saying that it doesn't matter where you graduated from college or went to law school, yet it's constantly a question asked in the courthouse when people brag about their kids.

Today I went to the library and checked out four books (two novels and two short story collections). I went to the park, sat on a bench, and finished one short story collection early in the evening.
I do not regret this one bit. Maybe I should do this once a week or something.

Today I overheard a self-professed liberal white criminal defense attorney tell a client that entering a certain plea would not affect his green card status. Actually, a plea to possession of cocaine would make him deportable.
