Yes, for chicken paprikash, the recipe from the Fitz according to the Great Lakes cookbook. I also added mustard. It’s good!

Someone called Maplewood's shape a "leg and a lump" and now that's how I think of it. Glad to see the city is also using this nomenclature.

So. How are those of you using Kagi liking it?

SMDH Google, obviously Dolly the Sheep is not a mononym.

Anybody know what this building was originally? 301 Thomas Avenue North, near Utepils. Was it part of the Fruen Mill complex?

I used to live in King William, a historic district in San Antonio, where some houses have REAL SHUTTERS and they look so nice (and are I'm sure very functional because it's HOT.)
August 17, 2025 at 7:16 PM
Once you start looking for non-functional shutters, you can't stop seeing 'em. They span so many eras of American architecture!

Had to check to make sure this month has been my personal weather hell and I'm not just imagining it. Yep!

On 19/29 days with data this month in the TC, the temp has been over 85 and/or the AQI has been moderate or worse. (Data from AirNow and NOAA)

Can't wait for winter.

I logged into the McCartney presale for U.S. Bank and it told me there were still tickets left at around $60-$70 a little bit ago. $170? Not so much. Make it make sense?

Despite bad signage and having no innate sense of direction, I made it from Capella Tower to the Minneapolis Central Library to return a book. Without leaving the skyway.

I imagine this sense of accomplishment is what Shackleton felt after crossing Elephant Island.
