its been a while since I made a post of the great outdoors! heres a handful of visits i made throughout the years. the only thing i wish from all this is to bring someone to all these places and witness how almost magical they can be

I really outdone my ginkgo seed harvest because as of today, 4 out of 13 have already started becoming saplings, I may have to give some of them away 😅

Southeastway Park in Indianapolis is the only public place in my area I know of that have female ginkgo trees. Their seeds resemble fleshy berries that smell of rancid butter.

While outside I observed the falling of the ginkgo tree leaves as this is the first hard frost of the season. These trees tend to lose all of their leaves at the same time instead of gradually losing them. Ginkgos are evolutionary links between cone trees and flower trees!
