My children have made a "treaty" to deal with arguments over lego. On paper, no less. I'm quite impressed. That would have been well beyond me and my brother.

The "Core" is the core rules plus some setting stuff. Two popular settings are Seattle and Berlin. Either of those two would be enough to get going. I ran my first arcs in Seattle with just this book.

We let the local handyman use our outside tap for his allotment. Turns out to have been a good choice.

Well, Star Trek DS9 had Gul Dukat. Who was an obvious monster but charismatic and sympathetic enough that it became a problem for the writers and the cast. viewers liked him too bloody much.
