Finished listening to Chain-Gang All-Stars this afternoon. WOW. For me the hype for this book was fully deserved. I absolutely loved it and the audio production was *chefs kiss*

Easy 5/5 stars for me and so glad I used my @libro.fm credit on this 🤩

I’m a new convert to @libbyapp.com (WHY did I sleep on it for so long!?) and the first audiobook I checked out was “You Should Be So Lucky” by Cat Sebastian.

I loved sooo much about this: the 1960s NYC setting; the slow-burn romance; the baseball; the tender exploration of grief. So good!

A little while ago I got stuck into the Milverton Mysteries by @gbralph.com (also a new writer friend of mine)!

Murder on Milverton Square somehow manages to be a cozy queer mystery AND a banger of a page turner. What a combo! Loved it - now the sequels are tempting me from my bookshelf…👀

More updates from my journey to read more queer books... Another one down this week!

At first, I wasn't convinced. The writing style irked me, and I was VERY skeptical of the MM pairing. But the whole thing really grew on me in the second half. I ended up racing through the final chapters!

Continuing my (long overdue) queer reading education ... I finished this gem last week!

TBH, when I first heard about this book, I rolled my eyes - I always saw "retellings" as a creative cop-out. Boy, was I WRONG! I loved the literary style, Miller's take on the mythology ... all of it!!

Finally got round to reading this banger of a debut this week - and I’m so glad I did! Devastating, moving, beautiful. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
