It breaks my heart how many classic games are essentially "replaced" with remakes that either don't fully re-capture the original charm (Spyro) or outright butcher the experience (Monkey Ball).
Older games are still worthy of being preserved and experienced as they were, they're works of art!

Folks are rightfully shitting on Capcom for the Resident Evil GOG stuff, about how they didn't want to re-release the old games because the new ones exist or whatever, but almost every major publisher, Japanese or not, believes the same thing.

It breaks my heart how many classic games are essentially "replaced" with remakes that either don't fully re-capture the original charm (Spyro) or outright butcher the experience (Monkey Ball).
Older games are still worthy of being preserved and experienced as they were, they're works of art!

Can I just say, I'm so glad DK got his sauce back and the Retro Studios games were more or less retconned 💀 Island is shaped after his head again, K. Rool/Kremlings are the main antagonists again, animal buddies besides Rambi are getting acknowledged... we're so back man.

I've fallen for several ai slop videos in the last month before realizing 30 seconds in, and it breaks my heart every time ☹️ Now I'm on edge literally every time I click on a YouTube video, it's made me use the platform less quite frankly.
i’ve been noticing a severe uptick in slop channels uploading multiple times a day and it is soul-crushing to watch youtube turn into a slop-filled content mill before my eyes
