Writes about prose-y books and picture-y books. Might actually be one of those Arcimboldo things where it's just a pile of fresh produce arranged like a face.
Jessi Zabarsky's diary strips at @hugbox.bsky.social are my cure for the Monday blues

Now this is a story all about how
My life got flipped turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute, sit on your perch
I'll tell you how I became the head of the Anglican Church

One of my favorite short comics I've ever read was by Peter Milligan and Eduard Russo about a woman researching an obscure 18th century poet she falls in love with. When she finds out he actually had a wife the whole time, she "kills" him by destroying her scholarship on him.

I don't think a lot about that time the High Evolutionary met ALF, but I do think about it more than most people

The foraging book I bought specifically only identifies mushrooms that do not have evil counterparts, with the specific instruction of "If you don't recognize it, don't eat it."

Which honestly is about the level I'm at with these thing.

Fans of Good Omens, if you're looking for something with a very comparable vibe, might I recommend Steeple by John Allison and Sarah Stern--sea devils abound in this sleepy hamlet where an unlikely friendship is sparked between a plucky Anglican and a saucy Satanist!
