@greensorganise.bsky.social we hear you're in the fighting Reform game. We need your help in this fight, they could win this if there's no alternative. Help us share the campaign and help us get some people working on this. We need a strong social campaign and frankly don't have the tools on hand

Councils across the East Midlands are struggling. This is the message we need to be shouting from the rooftops!

The Labour government have it all wrong on local government.

Give councils the funds they need to provide the services they have to provide. It's as simple as that.
Local authorities like #Bristol are desperate for more funding from the UK Labour government.

Without it they're left doing their best to be creative with the funding they do have, and trying to limit cuts on local public services as much as they possibly can, explains @robbryher.bsky.social.
‘Austerity is breaking Bristol and Labour are to blame’
Labour MPs could better expend their energy on lobbying their party colleagues Keir Starmer and Rachel Reeves to bring more funding to Bristol and other local authorities.

Labour are increasing the bus fare cap by 50% to £3, making everyday travel harder for those who need it most.

Help us urge Mayor Claire Ward to keep fares in the East Midlands capped at £2.
