Fonterra have just shown that they view New Zealand as a giant milk powder factory, making low value products to be shipped overseas and used in KitKats.

Share this video to tell Fonterra that New Zealanders are fed up with them milking us dry and selling us out.

The deep sea is one of the last untouched parts of the Earth and we still don’t know what’s down there. Mining could cause irreversible damage.

Greenpeace Aotearoa fights alongside the Cook Islanders, who peacefully protested. They want a Pacific blue line drawn against this destructive industry

STANDING IN SOLIDARITY

“People here in the Cook Islands face the same fight we’re up against in Aotearoa. In both cases, Indigenous Peoples are leading the resistance against seabed miners, to protect ancestral territories and waters for future generations.”

EXTRACTIVE COLONIALISM

Trump signed an order to fast track deep sea mining in April. The Nautilus ship is conducting U.S. funded research. Lousia says the research will be used to advance seabed mining.

“Any government or corporate looking to exploit us in this way is no true partner of ours”

STOP THE CORPORATE TAKEOVER

“We take a stand against the exploitation of our people and resources.”
"Seabed mining will lead to the destruction of our home environments and put our Indigenous rights, cultural ways of living, and wellbeing at risk."

There's a climate scam going on in downtown Auckland...

At the Fonterra HQ.

Despite being the single biggest climate polluting company in the country, Fonterra isn't paying up for its climate pollution. And to top that off - this Government just cut the methane reduction target.

In September, Canterbury declared a nitrate emergency over contaminated drinking water - and other regions of New Zealand are also experiencing significantly elevated levels of nitrate contamination.
October 9, 2025 at 10:15 PM
While many rural New Zealanders can’t drink the water from their kitchen tap without worrying about being sick, Fonterra’s executives are making millions every year and the dairy herd is expanding. More cows means more pollution - that means more unswimmable rivers and undrinkable water.

We brought the nitrate emergency from Canterbury to the corporate offices where it began!

18,000 more dairy cows in Canterbury? No thanks! There should be no new dairy expansion in a nitrate emergency.

We're calling on Environment Canterbury to end dairy expansion - sign the petition!

What would Miles Hurrell, CEO of Fonterra, call the nitrate emergency?

A business model.

Watch Miles Hurrell explain how the Luxon Government’s new proposed law is about to help him and other polluters cash in by trashing the environment, even more. #nzpol

Today we delivered nitrate-contaminated drinking water to those responsible for the pollution.

50+ people rallied outside Environment Canterbury to demand clean water now - because ECan is failing in its responsibility to protect drinking water from pollution.
