Rule-of-law Democrat

I'm content that I did all I could to support Democrats defeating the GOP in 16, 18, 20, 22, & 24. I hope you'll consider doing the same […]

Wow, one of the rare times that a Republicans's White House Press Secretary speaks the truth from the podium.

This right here distills down a major contrast between Democratic and Republican policy priorities.

This is from @RollingStone article on the Afghan refugee that apparently killed the National Guardswoman. While what is said is true, I'd like to point out that it's not U.S. policy to abandon our allies. That's a Republican thing. I do not think many Democrats agree with that GOP policy.

I haven't read it, but I bet this anti-wind activist's analysis can be debunked if anyone wants to.

I wish that Americans cared enough about climate change that stories like this would get attention from our legacy media.

The fossil fuel industry is the power behind the Republican Party so leftists should focus a lot more attention on them if we want to get […]

By cropping out the statute’s operative elements, Trump’s post reframed the Democratic lawmakers’ reminder of his constitutional limits as a potential felony. His closing line, “DO WHAT HAS TO BE DONE!!!,” further his threats to once again prosecute his […]

Texas gets treated like a climate champion, but the facts are that Texans are our very worst fossil fools. They just are blessed with terrific wind resources and vast open spaces for solar farms.

Texans are NOT installing solar on the buildings that they own at the pace that they need to be!

This is a good example of how the Republican Party has changed in the twentieth century.
November 30, 2025 at 3:25 PM
One thing that we all need to keep in mind in terms of what we say and do in relation towards getting the Republicans out of power is that because they know they face jail if they lose they're going to put up fierce resistance to try to avoid justice.

While the vast majority of Americans who voted for him suffer from his policies, he calls people trying to put a stop to the illegal tariffs, "Evil, American hating
Forces".

At least this one Indiana Republican lawmaker is sick of Trump's horrific language.
November 28, 2025 at 9:41 PM
I do not why he trolls us with the crap about him running again in 2028 just like no one besides he knows why he does it assuming he actually knows why.

I think mainly he does it to distract us and media from other issues plus perhaps to fend off Republicans […]

Estimate of electricity generation that is technically feasible for Floating PV development for reservoirs that are owned by the US Army Corps of Engineers, US Bureau of Reclamation, or are associated with hydropower dams licensed by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is over 860 GWdc.

What people like this will never acknowledge is the environmental and human health costs of the technology wind and solar are replacing.

The blood of those National Guards members is on all Republicans' hands, but especially on Mike Pompeo's hands.
November 27, 2025 at 2:35 PM
By full accountability, I don't suppose that this Republican means the illegality of Trump ordering West Virginia National Guard soldiers onto our cities' streets.
November 26, 2025 at 9:06 PM
Look, we absolutely have to continue to push for businesses and governments to take climate actions. We desperately need to start pushing harder for our friends, neighbors and family to vote for climate action.

Also, we all need to start taking more personal climate actions though too!

Accusing Obama of tanking the Copenhagen climate negotiations by hacking into Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia and releasing emails from climate scientists suggests someone is suffering a severe case of Democratic Derangement Syndrome […]

There are a lot of reasons why it is politically fraught to take the side of the Artificial Intelligence industry.

This is the Republican Secretary of Agriculture.

Do you agree with Brooke Rollins that Democrats have been waging a war against cows by talking so much about climate change?

Do you want to see what it sounds like when a lame duck tries to maintain his control over his political party?

His quacking sound onomatopoeia is something like, TEPUBLICAN??? Or, TPUBLICAN???

@pattykimura
John Hanger just posted this over on bluesky related to distributed solar deployed in California.

Apparently they've installed over 19 GW.

China has a coal-based economy so it cannot be asserted that they are leading the world in clean energy. That would be Europe and our states like California.

For example, California is rapidly reducing how much methane they burn for electricity after ditching coal years ago.
