This comment is reductive in its analysis, and offers an observation that is only half correct, in service of being unhelpful about real progress… which is likely the intent.

I’m sorry, this take is so dumb it belongs on Twitter. Last night’s show was far from my favorite episode, but it is further away than that from deserving a “we need to move on from Jon Stewart” critique.

His podcast is great. Understands the issues. Intellectually curious. A great voice to have.

It could be, a reminder that something could have been done sooner can be an applicable lesson from the future… especially in issues that need to be defended from a “forward position” before the right has taken too much ground.
