ZINEDUMP is a new Toronto #zinefair that aims to provide a venue for the open expression for independent publications, radical art and ideas.

The inaugural fest will be held on Nov. 9th between 12-5pm at the Cecil Community Centre.

Applications are due August 31st!!!

I discovered something super interesting today. At the St. Volodymyr Institute Library in Toronto, they have started what is possibly the world's first Ukrainian zine library/collection.

I'm glad that the Ottawa Anarchist Bookfair has a Corsi-Rosenthal box, because holy cow the CO2 level (usually a good proxy measure of potential viral spread) is through the roof. It's also a fully masked fair.

Une super belle affiche pour le festival anarchiste @constellationfest.bsky.social à Montréal à la mi-mai!
CONSTELLATION, un festival anarchiste à Montréal Du 15 au 21 mai 2025, gratuit et pour tous les âges Salon du livres, skill faire, dance party Zines, musique, art, bouffe, ateliers et plus. Le poster est un dessin dans le style de l'art nouveau, avec un•e anarchiste portant un balaclava et une robe (?) qui a été tirée vers le bas du torse. La figure est penchée de façon séductrice sur une petite table ronde et invite le spectateur à être silencieux avec un doigt posé sur ses lèvres. Dans l'arrière-fond, il y a une végétation généreuse dans le style luxueux pour lequel l'art nouveau est populaire.

What a beautiful poster for the @constellationfest.bsky.social anarchist festival in Montreal!

The poster is a drawing in the style of art nouveau, with a fairie-like anarchist figure wearing a balaclava, no top and a dress which has been pulled down the chest. The figure is leaning seductively on a small round table and beckoning the viewer to silence with a finger on their lips. In the background, there is luscious vegetation in the luxurious style which art nouveau is popular for.

Throwback to the time when I ordered a laptop case and it came in a fairly large box and wrapped in a 22 foot long strip of Kraft paper.
The poster is standing straight, his body completely wrapped in a single wide strip of Kraft paper.
