My third Warhammer game tonight was a fun 1000 points battle Vs Grey Knights. A fun match that was all my Tyranids early til a bad run of dice rolls turned it back to them. Learned a lot and ready to add to my army and give it some truly horrific monsters.

Last night was my first 40k game in almost 20 years. I had a blast taking my Tyranids out for the first time even if I lost and was not prepared for the hell that is a Dreadnought and Salamanders 🤣

Four books done in a week as I've found an obsessive need to read the Horus Heresy series. Yes I am aware it is 54 books but the lore is just so damn good!

56 hours and that is the platinum trophy done for Dragon Age The Veilguard. Absolutely loved the game and will be replaying it. Gameplay was fun, story was well done overall and I love the varied cast of companions. But for now next up it is stellar blade time.

Awaiting my early flight to London and I just finished reading my first Warhammer 40k novel. Deathworlder by @writervh.bsky.social and it was an absolute blast. It was first choice when I heard it was Catachans and Tyranids. The detail given to the devouring of the planet was sublime (1/2)

Awaiting my early flight to London and I just finished reading my first Warhammer 40k novel. Deathworlder by @writervh.bsky.social and it was an absolute blast. It was first choice when I heard it was Catachans and Tyranids. The detail given to the devouring of the planet was sublime (1/2)
4 out of 6 award at the golden joysticks for Rebirth and absolutely well deserved. Brianna White has been a stellar Aerith and deserved her award and that soundtrack oh yes!

Almost a year of DMing, last night was session 19 of the campaign I'm running and probably about my 24th session in total. The amount I've learned is something but one thing you can never learn.....how truly unhinged your players can be and where it will lead you. You can never be prepared for it.
It's Thursday and it means it is D&D night. I have everything prepped and ideas abound. We're almost at the end of act 1. Almost a full year of DMing behind me. I am excited for the future of my campaign.

I can recommend this. Picked it up at the Highland tabletop convention and love it's design and playability. A lovely cosy bit of fun.
AfterGlow is a solo journaling/2 person journaling TTRPG about exploring a world, dealing with a Wizard who messed it all up and deciding the fate of the Gods who ruled over it. It won this year's CRIT Awards for Best GMLess Game!

Dndbeyond adding a new class by a third party and it looks an absolute fantastic one to play. Guess I need it now.

Some shots from the weekends FFXIV fun. We cleared the treasure dungeon as a duo and we tried to take on the new Extreme. Really need to get back to capturing in game shots.

Finished reading The Fallbacks Bound For Ruin by @jaleighjohnson.bsky.social today and my god that was a fun D&D novel. Such endearing characters and great use of the lore and world. Really hope for another in the future. I'm not ready to leave them behind yet!

Made some solid progress in Dragon Age last night. Felt the game really has upped itself the further in I get and last nights sequence of events was just stellar. Yes it still feels very mass effect formula at times but that to me isn't bad since I loved mass effect.

A very successful FFXIV session tonight. Didn't beat the new extreme but learned a good part of it blind then completed a treasure dungeon and got some high selling materials. All to fund a bigger in game house, yes please. Do it for him

New dungeon and alliance raids done in patch 7.1 for dawntrail. Absolutely loved the alliance raid taking me right back to FFXI. Roll on the new extreme tomorrow.

Finally getting my D&D plan together by stringing together my different notes and realising it's all came together not because of me but because my players make it possible is a great feeling. Also need to make a DM bucket list I want to tick off over time.

Monday made easier by the fact it's XIV patch day tomorrow. Can't wait to try the new alliance raid, dungeon and take a shot at the new extreme. Sweet Tuesday patch day goodness #ffxiv

Having now properly sunk time into Dragon Age The Veilguard I can say I am absolutely loving it. It's not perfect but it's been a really fun experience so far and feels well made. Really hope it continues this way to the end of the game.

And for something to share on here. I spent most of yesterday with lord of the rings on and building my Tyranids. Very happy with the progress.
