it really is. it sprawls in all directions, there's a shortage of recharging options, and even the Regina airport is a nicer place to wait.

then, there was a snafu during check-in that required us to sit 45min at the gate, which nuked my connecting flight from orbit.
now, I am enjoying a three hour layover in Toronto, surely the most wretched of all Canadian airports, before the rescheduled flight.

Aw, thanks so much. :D I really like how the flared sleeve turned out. If I ever redid this project, I think I'd go with a more monochromic body and save the colour for the trim. The curves of the expanding mesh are really compelling to me, and get lost a bit in the colour shifts.

here's the shot of the back, with the armhole visible near the centre.
here it (nearly) is, lovelies. centre pinwheel to outer finished edge. if I was following the pattern exactly, all that would be left to do is weaving in ends and blocking.
