Sitting on a bench outside of work having closed up after a long day when I had this exchange with a woman walking by.
Her: “are you the manager here?”
Me: ”front desk.”
Her: “do you have cocaine?”
Me: (poker face) “No.”
Her: (pouts like a child) “:( oh well. Nice to meet you!” (Keeps walking)

Wish this had better tick marks for the x-axis. Outside of the Great Recession and COVID, the ups and downs seem to coincide with presidential inaugurations. It would be a worthy graph to go with these three.

As a person who never watched the original Dolemite movie and knows biopics can end in tragedy (see: The Imitation Game), especially if the biopic is of a black man in 1970s America, I took a gamble.
