I've been railing against this non-news featuring of TV shows AS news for years. Doctor Who, Strictly Come Dancing, Traitors - the list is a long one. ITV is actually much worse, but less is expected of them, I guess.

My first thought was that WH meant Western Hemisphere (duh), but then realised it was White House. But demolishing half of the Western Hemisphere (arguably already in progress) would have less of an impact upon the MAGA than the White House.

It really depends on the context of the image. If colour doesn't contribute anything, or is a distraction, I'll convert to B&W.

I have "Land" - wonderful.

Was lucky to pick up six volumes of "Landscape Photographer of the Year" in great condition from the honesty bookshop in Penmaenmawr, for a total outlay of just £12 a couple of days ago.

Yes, I had that, too, and most of his subsequent releases, including a triangular record on clear vinyl, IIRC.

Yes, I've seen him many times, first at Eric's Club in Liverpool, around 1978 or 79. His performances these days can be a little variable, but he was in form this time. His support, Mike Garry, was also good.
