I'm a very large man and I'm a very active ADHD fidgeter.
This means I break a lot of chairs. I go through 2-3 a year unless I drop more than $500 on a chair - which then just seems to only last a bit longer.

Its for exactly this reason that I always recommend devs setup staging on a subdomain rather than leaving it on your managed hosts default url - If you ever have issues with the robots/index directives on your staging env - you'll see it in GSC.
Bonus: if you use something like "content.your-site.com", you can just verify the main domain with DNS in Search Console, and get all data for your website + the content hosted there in a single property in Search Console. (6/7)

Bout every 4 or 5 years or so you can just do "sudo reboot" and it'll work. No flags. No other CLUs. Just reboot. At least for a little while before opinions get back in the way of common sense.

As search dies under SEO sludge and AI confidently recycles it, we enter a loop of polished misinformation. The web splits into curated knowledge and noise. Unless AI learns to judge credibility, search won't reveal truth… just whoever fakes it best.
