Dear City of Toronto,

Just do whatever you want. If Doug wants to pout and cry, let him. Go to court. Run it to the Supreme Court. Make it a constitutional challenge. I don’t care anymore, this system ain’t working for anyone but a select few rich people.
A sad day for cyclists. Bill 60 - which prohibits the conversion of motor vehicle lanes to bike lanes (or any other prescribed purpose) - has passed Third Reading this morning which will kill various cycling projects in Toronto & across Ontario. #shame #BikeTO #BikeSky #TOpoli #ONpoli #VisionZero

There are plenty of historical examples of Israel doing very specific targeted attacks. So targeting one person with bombing a city is just such an obvious bold-faced lie.
Israel's military has bombed Beirut for the first time since June, claiming to target a Hezbollah member in the southern suburb of Dahiyeh.

It's the latest violation of a ceasefire Israel signed with Hezbollah a year ago, which Israel has broken with near-daily attacks on southern Lebanon.

Pretty nuts to me that there is still a well known cafe/roastery in Toronto named after an infamous fascist. Like there are many better names than Ezra’s Pound. Do they have an Italian eatery called Mussolini’s?

I truly believe that the air pollution issue of cars is not given enough focus. Car exhaust is basically invisible but literally poisoning us. If it were black and visible then people would take it a lot more seriously.

Incredible that our PM was once sold to us as “a green capitalist”.
At COP30 Canada just got awarded the fossil of the day — first time since 2014 (the harper years). Clear sign of how Carney’s pro fossil fuel agenda and backsliding on climate policy is being noticed internationally.

This obsession with how other people identify is deeply weird and deeply infuriating. Especially when they directly put children in harm’s way and they say they’re doing it to “protect children”.

Pretty insane that the Liberals are just presenting a bad budget and then playing a game of chicken with the other parties. “Do you want to be the party responsible for another election?” To me as a minority government it’s up to you to get support, not just ram it through and be like, “I dare you.”
