i am going to be equally honest, the USPS accounts for less than a single percentage point of federal spending despite being one of the most complex and sophisticated logistical agencies in the world, this is a crank hobby horse

The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service
