when you're trying to cut 30% of your novel's wordcount and you reach a chapter which is 90% fun dialogue and not much else
a small child holding a gun and crying. implication is that they are very sad they need to kill something. maybe even as sad as i am cutting words out of this chapter

my followers truly have my best interests at heart
