They want to wage war against whoever they see as their enemies, no holds barred and without due process. If this isn't authoritarianism, I don't know what is.

Hi from across the street! (I was in the frame of your video.) Thanks for joining to support democracy!

My happy thing right now is averaging one boba tea a day.

The US has alienated friendly nations, threatening to attack some over land or impose tariffs on others. Half the country is fighting the other half. We're more unsupported outside and destabilized inside than in our enemies' wildest wet dreams.

When I was offered the NSF and DOD NDSEG fellowships (but could only pick one), I never had to factor in that the President of the United States of America would be hostile to the mission of the NSF but not to the DOD. What amazing times we live in.

🤣 Yup, he knew you were data-driven and could think critically, so you weren't going to fall for their song and dance.

It's why Trump is also going after scientists and cutting off funding for NSF fellowships.

For whatever reason, my mind just flashed a mental image of Yoda holding his hand over the heads of padwans that look like mini Elon, Zuck, Bezos, and others. "The Grift is strong with these ones," he says, with a pained expression.

Thanks for hosting us! We had so much fun hanging out. Happy new year!

Ah, I had no idea. Thanks for explaining. I guess I can breathe a sigh of relief that there are no gigantic chickens around. Especially when the stuff looks so dry and unappetizing. It would be a waste of ostrich-sized chickens.

Impressive. I'm kind of curious what kind of giant chicken that came from, or how the frankenchicken fried steak was assembled.
December 20, 2024 at 5:04 PM
That sucks. Hope you're ok.
December 19, 2024 at 2:38 PM
Sorry to hear that. Hopefully tomorrow is better.

The enshittification of everything will continue until morale improves.

Haha, just kidding.

It'll happen no matter what
