I sincerely think Val is NOT happy about what Vox is doing to Angel. The constant frown/flat tone/refusal to look at them screams "I'm not happy with this but I can't stop it". Esp with the line of "you do whatever you fucking want anyways" (paraphrased).

5. I'm putting money on Val and Vel defecting together. Like... are they assholes? Sure yeah. But are they assholes with feelings? Also yes. They liked Vox (or even love/d him!) and trusted him, and he's fucked them over. Immensely.

2. I sincerely don't think Val is happy about it. As fucked as things are with Angel and him, I think they WERE in love once, and the fact that Val was angry with Vox, barely looks at Angel, has a flat tone-- it feels like guilt/avoidance.
