alsooo one more week and I'm packing away my PC for the rest of the year cus of me moving abroad. I so want a steam deck to pass the time cus I'll miss playing Stardew Valley and Deadlock and Phasmophobia and everything else 😔 why does it has to be so damn expensive to get one ahhh

spent my entire yesterday troubleshooting my pc because any time I opened anything in explorer it would crash

my backup .zip with the archived pics, the ones that I was able to save, was crashing.

I was about to cry if everything got corrupt but I thank the tech lords for sfc /scannow fixing it

I've tried minitools, recuva, dr. fone (avoid this like the plague), diskdrill, file recover, everything

it all comes up empty-handed. all the pics are just... gone.

I can't even express how fkn devastated I am rn. been bawling my eyes out over some silly pictures but they meant more than before

I wanted to move ~400 pictures from my phone to my pc because I wanted to back them up

mid-transfer I mistakenly pressed delete on the DCIM folder

no prompt or anything, it just deleted it all.

no way to recover. I'm so fucking sad
