Palestine Action did nothing wrong
This dude should live a long, miserable and lonely life while being reminded of why every day.
According to the car wash owner, agents arrested employees before they could obtain their documentation from their work lockers. So many were likely here legally.

Here's hoping this article on Zac boasting about how he ruined some immigrants' lives follows him around for a very long time.

Is it bad that tech ghouls are talking up a 70 hour working week chat?
Hard to believe that a few years ago there was genuine mainstream discourse about tech companies shifting to 4-day work weeks while today companies are bragging about “AI productivity gains” yet it’s all about 996.

The last year is a shining example of why I’ve never supported the SNP. A change of leader has led to a complete reversal of like a decade of policy.

John Swinney can eat shit.
🚨 BREAKING

The SNP have just blocked our motion, confirming they no longer oppose the Rosebank oil field application.

If Rosebank goes ahead it'll be a grave act of environmental vandalism. This is a huge step backwards for Scotland's climate action.
Today the Scottish Parliament will vote on our motion opposing Rosebank.

The oil field would release a massive 250 million tonnes of new carbon emissions into our atmosphere, 50 times as much as previously admitted!

We must put people and planet first, not corporate profits.

Thank god we don’t live in China or I’d be worried we were living in an authoritarian surveillance state.
The British government admits it is now monitoring VPNs use by UK residents. Regulator Ofcom has contracted with an AI-powered surveillance service to detect the number of citizens using VPNs to evade the Online Safety Act.

The UK tech minister has said a VPN ban is on the table.

Emily Maitlis brags about her, Deb Cohen, and Hannah Barnes getting the Tavistock GIDS service shut down.

What she doesn't talk about is how Newsnight journalists manufactured outrage and concocted "scandals" based on unethical journalism - which they were called out for, but tried to hide...

I'd be quite happy to see Starmer go, but when you have Streeting and Mahmood being presented as the most viable alternatives it doesn't exactly bode well for the future. Seems guaranteed that the attacks on marginalised communities we have seen already will be ramped up.

Is it a hysterical pile on to say that the BBC has had a significant role in getting the country’s discourse on human rights and immigration to the horrendous place it is?

I wouldn’t say so.
Nowhere in the hysterical pile-on against the BBC in the British press has anyone mentioned that BBC News now has 77 million viewers & listeners in the US and has established itself as the second most trusted news source there.

Remember a few months back the Paris Lees "What It Feels Like For a Girl" *drama series* review felt the need to squeeze in a paragraph from Forstater and Sex Matters about how some people don't believe trans people are real or valid, for some fucking reason
The BBC has no pro-trans bias. The BBC is appalling on trans issues, just like the rest of the media.

See here’s the thing. I’m not against a nationally funded media corp in principle but the BBC’s news content has been hopelessly undermined by their behaviour for years. It’s been poisoned by bigoted rhetoric.

It can probably be fixed but handwringing about what to do won’t help.
Can't believe there are conversations about ending the BBC. This is like listening to a family calmly discussing whether to shoot it's dog, or burn down the house.
