This is really important to remember and keep in mind. No one artist, problematic, abusive, or otherwise, owns an aesthetic or style. Finding out about Gaiman was disappointing on a personal level; his work was inspiring to a very awkward young me.
Nice people are struggling over the revelations on Gaiman, and something I keep hearing is, 'His work had a big influence on how I shaped my own identity.' So here's something to remember:
