As a technologist, I have been immersed in the “technology revolution” for most of my 75 years, beginning with my first transistor radio. Ultimately retiring as a Network Systems Engineer, I still love and use this “stuff”! The current WIRED magazine is worth a read: “Rouge Nation”.

Birthright Citizenship and the recent arguments by the Trump regime are difficult to fully understand. The NY Times Daily podcast ran a full episode after the arguments and is a start. However, the notion of “Anticipatory Obedience” from Matthew Seligman on The Daily Blast nailed it!

I stand with the brave men and women fighting for Ukraine’s very existence, some of whom I have come to know on Bluesky. Our American “President” is weak, mean-spirited and a toy of the Kremlin. Your President Zelenskyy is brave, caring and deserves our support.

Just finished Parable of the Talents, published in 1998. Amazed at how prescient the author’s description of an autocratic U.S. President set in a dystopian 2024 mirrors today’s U.S. The two book series is a must read.
