Amen. Most of us have enough trouble getting enough sleep in the summer anyway. Let's just make it harder by making sure the sun doesn't set till after anyone who works 9-5 should be in bed

I think we need to constantly remind GOP lawmakers that THEY are responsible for everything the Dumpster does. He's demented, he makes no sense, and the people close to him enable him. Elected GOP reps/Senators could stop him, should stop him. This should all be hung around their necks.

All the little dogs at the show either look terrified or very sad. I suspect it has to do with the big eyes in the little head and the slope of the forehead, etc. etc. but damn they all looked like they didn't want to be there.
The terriers? They were all 'Let's GO!!' and pulling at the leashes.

They've been trying and trying to provoke ordinary people into attacking the righties and the National Guard. And we just won't take the bait. (Other than the occasional sub sandwich.)

Every time Ukraine signals willingness to talk, then Putin takes a long pause before saying, 'Yeah, nope,' it demonstrates again that Pootie never intended to talk. Ukraine looks reasonable, Putin looks thuggish, and support for Ukraine stiffens -- especial in Europe, which will be his next target.

A friend who had never seen one said, 'Are they really that red??' You betcha. I grew up in the Midwest so took for granted that cardinals are flaming scarlet and that fireflies (lightning bugs) are cool and not at all scary. Even en masse in bushes by the river.

'Hoarding' implies stockpiling multiples of something, especially more than you can possibly use, and potentially depriving others.
If you keep something that still works instead of ditching it for a newer model, that is thrifty and sensible. Not a behavior needing intervention.

3/ before the airlines were supposed to start cutting back flights. We think the crew wanted to get to SEA, get us off, and get to their next stop before midnight, so they burned fuel to get there.
But still no idea why there was NObody on that flight. It was damn weird.

2/ None of this 'Smith, party of 3, report to gate 16.' They closed the doors 10 minutes early and we were airborne 25 minutes early. Everyone had a whole row to themselves if they wanted it. The flight to Seattle landed 90 MINUTES EARLY. Never did figure out what was up.
