So, call the race....

With the outstanding vote being basicallt evenly split, this looks good for the Congresswoman! #ElectionNight

Remember, all the early vote is already counted and should drop ASAP after polls close. That's why the primary result was so fast. Murphy signed that into law last year.

Nearly spit out my coffee when I saw this - I was halfway through typing something when this king showed up on my screen. This guy is now a freaking legend.

I'm not saying the gun culture isn't pervasive, but it's also less socially stigmatic than saying "I want to be able to scream the n-word whenever I want." It's an easy excuse.

But what they're saying they're voting on and actually voting on are two different things. Taking republican voters at their word isn't exactly something we can rely on. They say guns because they don't want to be seen as racist, sexist, anti-gay, anti-trans, christian nationalists.

They're among the most accurate pollsters in the last cycle, but is that because they under sampled & were right, or they have better methodology? However, this is an outlier, & the polling average has Sherrill +6, which I think is high, but the AtlasIntel sample isn't reflective of the population.
November 4, 2025 at 2:26 PM
The methodology on the AtlasIntel poll is odd - They sampled 71% white, & 58% over $100k income. NJ is only 55% white, and the median income is half that. The sample, while larger than other polls, is not super reflective of the likely voter pool. I know Atlas predicted Trump, but this is way off.

Except of course, on the @nytimes.com which was about left leaning justices. The country is burning, Punch Sulzberger and Abe Rosenthal are rolling in their graves, but they need to make sure Stenographer Maggie keeps access, so fuck it.
