They can be! Not granny squares but I’ve been doing C2C and this stitch has a similar calming repetition and aesthetic. It’s meditative and I’m enjoying it very much.

The fact that hate group #AutismSpeaks asks for donations three different ways in the first three clicks of entering website but is radio silence on any defense of autistic ppl/dispute of the comments made by RFK on autism should tell you everything you need to know about that horrible organization.

Pulled up my driveway, a new #bird I haven’t seen here b4 caught my eye. Too big for a crow, all black, immediately thought, #raven? Sat for awhile, looked from different angles as it pecked at insects. Scanned an image search, listened to recorded bird calls. Remembered hearing a warble recently.

Made soup from dried beans and pairing with buttered saltines like we did when I was a kid 😂😍. Seriously good stuff for this soup weather day though.

I think adding chicken makes it a cheat compared to the super budget friendly soups of my childhood but just a little trying for enough protein.
