I grew up with a Grandpa who was a Wagoneer on the battlefields of France in WW1 so we marched in VFW parades every Memorial Day & carries a wreath to lay at VFW monument that had been erected in honor of those locally who had paid it all. He never spoke much about it at all, but he was a GREAT MAN!

Especially ours who in the late fall/winter/early spring have a heated tile floor to sleep on all day.

So this week, I decided I was going to wear a KC Chiefs shirt to wear every day and when I got up this morning I put on my last one and yes I could always do laundry but when you have your own t-shirt business, you just whip another one up to wear tomorrow! #ChiefsKingdom #SuperBowl

Tile floor in master bath was grouted today and is curing overnight. Tomorrow, they will be back to seal the grout and set the toilet! I cannot wait for it to be finished and be able to step onto a warm bathroom floor!

We moved into my mother-in-law’s home last year, it was so stuck in the 70’s that we knew we would have to tackle the piss yellow decor one part at a time. So we painted first & this week the carpeting in the master bath was torn out & heated tile is going in! Yay for progress a tiny step at a time!

I’ve a small online business & love to make 1 of a kind special order gifts. I try really hard to keep my costs reasonable so that giving a nice gift does not have to be one with a high dollar price tag! This is recent special order I did for a customer. www.bakedfish.fun

In January my mother-in-law passed after falling & breaking her hip. Then my sweet Gracie passed away unexpectedly from a brain tumor. In June, I fell picking blackberries & broke all bones in my left leg. Thursday I will be most thankful for all the love & support others have shown to us both. 🙏🏻
